Hey folks!!

believe it or not, I've actually been pretty productive! I recently acquired a job at Present Creative, LLC in San Francisco as a digital artist. However, I cannot post any of my work 'cause I signed a non-disclosure form.

BUT. . . Here is cute wedding map I drew in flash for my friend's wedding!!!

The dogy is my doggy. The kitchen is a mixture of my family's kitchen and my imagination.

Used EXTENSIVE layouts for this.

Took me a few days to do this. Really no story here, but it was fun!!

Assignment in 2 point vertical and three point! VERY difficile! I have to do everything by hand to. No cheating. Bleh.

cause it I am working mostly on contract work . . . boooorrrrrriiing.

Time Warp!

I had to do one! I've been so outrageously busy with work and school that I haven't had a chance to sit and paint something for myself. This was fun to do and I learned a lot, actually! It's like character design - but you use yourself as the subject! It is a great exercise, highly recommend other's do the same!

Saying Goodbye

I have been working on a lot of commissions as of late... thus the lack of posts. Anyway, I painted this very sad moment of life. This happened this past year. My family went in and stayed late at the hospital watching and waiting as a generation passed on. It was very surreal. But it was also very real. I painted this from memory, but it is very clear in my head so it looks right to me.

Actually, strange thing about this is that I have recently lost a little weight from road biking - not like I was huge or anything, but my face looks thinner, or maybe I am just getting older... who knows.

This kind of painting occurs very late in the night whilst listening to very sexy electronica. Also, I am a perfectionist, so yeah, I fixed it and here it is! Probably a giant waste of time though.

One of my more significant dreams..

This painting I drew today in few hours. It is based on a incredibly vivid dream I had the night of my Opi's funeral.

Basically it went like this: I am riding my bike chasing yellow giants by highway 40 in my hometown of park city. I want them to slow down and I fear they will smash my home! Everything is yellow and smells of hay. It is very bright (the way it gets in the mountains). The air is full of grass pollen. they will not slow down and keep running! So I ride until I pass out. Then I wake up.
